I was saddened at your rethoric of the john williamson saga. Whatever happened to your sarcastic but for some reason mildly comforting banter? It hurts justin. I can not claim patriotism but I did pay $4.95 for an old cassette of john williamsons family christmas album. Possibly the best money I will never spend again.

The Lounge Room Philosophers. – since you are out of your bedroom(writing), and into the lounge room (practising).

A Beetle. Note the non-use of The – and use of the singular form. You won’t get confused for The Beatles – since they are all old or dead. Plus there are many of them – and your band can spell.

“Vote green or die.” – some political slogan as your band name. Use your own favourite, such as “Tram fines suck”.

The Bedroom Consequentialists – get specific on the philosophy part.

Whine and Cheese. Arty types love wine and cheese. Also NOTE, it is whine, not wine. So you can winge about things, and tell cheesy jokes. Also people will come to your gigs thinking there is free wine and cheese. Nothing better than tricking people to come to your gigs.

“The Bedroom Philosopher is joined by The Bass Player, and The Drummer. Together they form a nice blend of players who will both delight and amuse you. Their favourite colours are yellow, red and blue”. Or something like that – but LONGER. An essay length band name.
